EVENT: 2 Day Punyelroo Swan Reach Nth Yacto Creek Paddle & Camp.
DATE: Sat Oct 11-Sun 12, with option to camp Fri 10th &/or Sat 11th
MEET TIME: Day 1 Sat 11th, 10am for 10.30 start, Day 2 Sun 8.30 for 9am start
DURATION: Sat 11th, 5.5 hrs, Sun 12th, 5 hours (0r 6.5hrs option). (incl lunch break)
LOCATION: Sat 11th : Punyelroo Caravan Park: (Fri 10th Oct or Sat 11th Camps optional), Sun 12th(setting off point) Tenbury Hunter Camp Ground (toilet block available)

DESCRIPTION:
Fri 10th Oct: If planning on camping the night before then prebook at Punyelroo Caravan Park, unpowered camp area next to Murray River. To book in call 08 8570 2021, unpowered sites are $30, up to 4 people per site. If interested in sharing a site either night, let Berny know.
Sat 11th Oct: Punyelroo Lagoon Loop
● Punyelroo Caravan Park water front, Meet 10am for on the water 10.30am
● Duration 5hrs approx. ( there may be a portage)
● Paddle to Punyelroo Lagoon via Sth Creek, and explore Nth.
● Venture into cave optional (bring hard head cover and torch/ head lamp)
● Bring Snacks, water and Lunch for breaks. Appropriate clothing and backup for sun, rain or cold weather, and in case of getting wet. Bring foot wear that can be wet, and walk in safely, even in some mud.
● This will be a 12km day, that includes river, lagoon, and creek exploration.
● Dinner at Swan Reach Hotel (optional), or cook a camp meal.
Sun 12th Oct: Yackto Creek Reserve Loop. 13km (or 19km option, depending on weather, and time limitations with paddlers.)
● Campers Pack up Punyelroo camp
● Meet at Tenbury Hunter Rescue Camp Ground 8.30am for 9am on the water.
● Proceed up river to Yackto Creek Reserve. 13km loop (or 19km loop option).
● Bring Snack, water and Lunch for breaks. (there will be short portages)
Note that ratios/quotas will apply depending on the number of Instructors or Leaders on a trip. We may take pictures of the trip and mention your name on our website. If you have any concerns about this, let the trip leader know.
