Join us for a special celebration honoring Dr. David A. NewMyer at the Glenn Poshard Transportation Education Center.

We’ll commemorate his lasting impact on SIU with the official naming of the Dr. David A. NewMyer Lobby. The event will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the North Lobby, 545 N. Airport Road, Murphysboro.

Enjoy sweet treats and light refreshments following the ceremony. Free parking is available across from the north entry of the building.
