Originally consecrated in 1869, Harshaw Chapel has long been a cherished part of our community’s history. Now, following its 2026 restoration, this beautiful and meaningful space is ready to welcome visitors once again.

We invite you to be part of this special ribbon cutting as we honor the chapel’s rich past and celebrate its renewed future in Murphy. The ribbon cutting will take place at the Harshaw Chapel at 1:00pm on May 1st.
