Rutherford County Historical Society (MEMBERS ONLY) Bar-B-Q Summer Picnic to be held at the Slick Pig 1920 E. Main Street. This is a private event and we will have the whole restaurant to ourselves. $20 per person!
Barbeque Plate dinner consisting of pulled pork, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, cornbread, drink, and Banana Pudding!
We will discuss the history of the building at 1920 E. Main Street that was once upon a time a market and now Slick Pig!
If any members have a story to tell about this building or any of the businesses that occupied this place, we would love for you to share!
Deadline for Reservations is August 1, 2025. Please mail your check and indicate the number attending to: RCHS, PO Box 906, Murfreesboro, TN 37133-0906. Or....you can drop it off at the Ransom School House.
NO LATE RESERVATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AND NO PAYING AT THE DOOR. Please bring a little cash for Slick Pig Servers Tip Jar!
