After last year’s successful inaugural installment of Elorde The Flash Run: Run Like A Champ, one thing became clear: The fighting spirit continues to live far beyond the boxing ring. Building on that momentum, Elorde The Flash Run proudly returns with a brand-new edition.
The spirit of a champ lives on
Happening on May 31, 2026, at Central Park, Filinvest City, Alabang, the event will feature five categories: 21K, 16K, 10K, 5K, and 3K. It welcomes seasoned runners and first-timers alike to take part in a race inspired by the heart of a true champ.
This year’s edition marks the continued partnership between Elorde Boxing Gym and MNL City Run. Both organizations aim to bridge the worlds of boxing and running, proving that the champion’s mindset transcends sport. Through this partnership, The Flash Run celebrates Elorde’s legacy — not only as a boxing icon, but as a symbol of Filipino excellence and determination.
And true to the mission of MNL City Run, The Flash Run 2026 goes beyond competition. It is a platform for meaningful impact, as part of the proceeds will go to its charity partner, Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation. A previous charity partner of the debut installment of the said run in 2025, this non-profit organization aims to provide access to education for children in remote and poverty-stricken areas by providing boats to reach their schools.
