About the event

Ash Wednesday

The Holy Penitential season of Lent begins, Wednesday, February 18th. We will offer 2 masses (11am & 7pm). Blessed ashes, a reminder of our physical mortality and of our willingness to do penance for our sins will be imposed on the foreheads of the faithful following the Homily at each mass. Although Ash Wednesday is NOT a holy day of obligation, it is a day of fasting & abstinence.
