The Rock River Canyon 50K and 27K showcase the wild beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Starting at Valley Spur Lodge, the course follows remote sections of the North Country Trail, passes through the Rock River Canyon Wilderness, and winds back on a mix of smooth singletrack (26 miles) and forest roads (5 miles).
With 4,390 ft of elevation over runnable, non-technical terrain, this is the perfect ultra for first-timers—or a fast, scenic challenge for veterans!
