Come Dine With UsThe Mundoolun Community Centre warmly invites you to our “Come Dine With Us” community dinner — a welcoming evening created to bring neighbours together and strengthen social connection within our community.In today’s fast-paced world, many of us are busier than ever yet feeling increasingly isolated. Despite living close to one another, opportunities to slow down, connect, and genuinely engage with others are becoming rarer. This growing sense of isolation and loneliness can have a significant impact on mental health and overall wellbeing.The Mundoolun Community Centre is committed to breaking down isolation barriers, encouraging meaningful face-to-face interaction, and rebuilding the strong social connections that help communities thrive. Sharing a meal is one of the simplest and most powerful ways to connect, and this dinner is designed to do just that.Our first dinner event will be held on:� Saturday, 8 March� 4:00 pm – 7:30 pmYour ticket includes:� A delicious home-cooked roast dinner� Dessert� Drinks will be available to purchase for $1This is a relaxed, friendly, non-alcoholic event, focused on conversation, connection, and community spirit. We have strictly limited places (70 seats), so early booking is essential.In previous years, similar dinners were priced at $10 per person. However, recognising the current cost-of-living pressures, we believe it is only fair to reduce the cost to $7 per person, ensuring this event remains affordable and accessible to everyone in our community.We plan to run “Come Dine With Us” once a month, creating ongoing opportunities for neighbours to connect, build friendships, and support one another.
