Create a colorful trinket dish with a technique you may not have tried before: sgraffito, from the Italian for "to scratch"! After draping clay into a bowl form, you'll paint one side with colored underglaze, then scrape through the underglaze to create your design. You'll also have the option to texture part of your clay before forming your bowl for some added dimension.

Clay and underglaze wash out, but remember to wear mess-friendly clothes or bring an apron if you prefer. Projects will remain in the studio to dry before firing, clear glazing, and re-firing. Pieces will be available for pickup approx. 3 weeks after class.

Instructor is subject to change. Recommended for adults and youths age 10+.
