- **Event Description**: Level up your wheel throwing in this 2-part class! In the first class you'll throw your forms for a mug and a bowl, and have a demo on how to trim them and how to create and attach handles. Then in the second class you'll trim the bottoms of your two pieces and attach a handle to your mug. You don't have to be a pro on the pottery wheel, but you will need to center the clay and pull the walls up with minimal help from the instructor.

2 evenings: Thursday May 14th and Friday May 15th, 6pm-8pm. Must attend both classes. Adults and teens age 16+ with some wheel throwing experience.

Plan to get a little messy! Feel free to bring a lap towel or apron if you like, and we recommend that you trim your nails and tie your hair back for wheel throwing. Projects will remain in the studio to dry before firing, glazing with the dip glaze color of your choice, and re-firing. Pieces will be available for pickup approx. 3 weeks after the class.
