The 2026 spring vernal equinox takes place on March 20th, and we invite visitors to learn more about the vernal equinox on Saturday, March 21st, from 10-3pm. We will provide early-spring themed activities, focusing on the seasonal changes taking place. Hands-on activities will be available in the Nature Lab, along with scavenger hunts in the Rinard Orchid Greenhouse and in Christy Woods. 

The BSU Planetarium will also be offering FREE chair yoga sessions in the Dome at 1:30pm and 3:00pm, as a part of our Equinox celebrations. The sessions are FREE and first-come, first served.
