We’ll dive into polar patterns and show you how to use them to your advantage—whether you’re isolating a vocal, reducing feedback, or capturing the full ambiance of a room. By the end of this workshop, you’ll have a solid understanding of how to choose the right mic and position it for the best possible results. Experience first hand the different types of microphones with our hands on demo setup. Hear how different Vocal mics sound and AB them against one another. Answer the age old battle of what mic is best on the snare! We will have an AB rig setup and ready for you to try! We will have time for demos and QA during the break in the class and after, but we recommend coming at 5pm doors for the most time to experience the Demo stations for yourself!
