Created by Luis Buñuel in collaboration with Salvador Dalí, these groundbreaking films challenge logic, morality, and convention through shocking, dreamlike imagery and dark satire. An Andalusian Dog shattered cinematic norms with its infamous opening sequence, while L’Âge d’Or expands Buñuel’s rebellious vision into a bold critique of society, religion, and desire. Together, they remain essential works of avant-garde cinema that continue to provoke, confuse, and inspire nearly a century later.
