The ACIW Holiday Charity Mela

The ACIW Charity Shopping Mela is Mumbai’s most meaningful women-led holiday market, bringing together over 60 artisan brands, grassroots NGOs and immersive cultural experiences at The Trident, BKC. Curated by the American Club of International Women, the Mela offers a vibrant, purpose-driven day where craft, creativity and community come together to support local impact.

Attendees can explore a beautifully curated marketplace featuring fashion, jewellery, handcrafted bags, home decor, wellness essentials, gourmet food and festive gifting. The event also showcases the powerful work of NGOs such as reCharkha, Women’s India Trust, YODA, Akanksha Foundation, Goonj, Karmann and more, offering visitors the rare chance to engage directly with social enterprises creating sustainable change.

This year’s Mela features an expanded lineup for families and children. Little ones can enjoy snow globe–making, holiday cookie decorating, and a delightful puppet show with a special visit from Santa Claus, creating a festive and memorable experience for all ages. Adults can explore tarot readings, sip from our mocktail bar, browse The Bombay Book Project’s curated selections, and participate in exciting raffles throughout the day.

Every purchase and participation helps support ACIW’s fundraising mission for the year, including menstrual health access through the JVS program in Mankhurd, pediatric cancer support, animal rescue and rehabilitation and disability inclusion through skill development initiatives.
