The orchestra will also perform Mendelssohn's String Symphony No. 7, a remarkable symphony composed between the ages of 12 and 14, inspired by the Classical traditions of Joseph Haydn, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.The programme also features a celebrated tenor, Angel Romero, winner of the Second and Zarzuela Prizes in Operalia 2024 which was hosted at the NCPA. He will perform beloved Italian vocal works by Gastaldon, Brogi, Di Lazzaro, Denza, Verdi, and Rossini, bringing the warmth, romance, and charm of the Italian vocal repertoire to Mumbai.
