Isa Trotta, piano


At just 22, Milan-born pianist Isa Trotta is emerging as one of Italy’s brightest young talents. A graduate of the Verdi Conservatory in Milan, where she studied with Lilya Zilberstein and Andrea Lucchesini, she has performed with ensembles including the Milano Classica Orchestra and the S. Moniuszko Philharmonic and appeared at festivals such as Piano City Milano and Rome’s Orto Botanico. Winner of numerous international prizes, Trotta is acclaimed for her technical brilliance and expressive artistry.



In this concert, she joins the SOI Chamber Orchestra as soloist in Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2. The concert will also feature SOI’s cellist Sherali Mukhanbetkali performing Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 1. The orchestra will present a selection of other works, offering a varied and engaging programme.
