A poetic symphony, an ode to the timeless soul of Marathi literature
Utsav Shabdsurancha – Dhyas Marathicha brings together verse, melody and memory for a tribute to Maharashtra’s poetic legacy. The evening will feature evocative writings of Kusumagraj, Mangesh Padgaonkar, Vinda Karandikar, Shanta Shelke, Suresh Bhat, Indira Sant, Borkar [VP1] and others.
The works, brought to life with personal anecdotes and lyrical narration evoking nostalgia and cultural pride, will be performed by a talented ensemble including Sheetal Deshpande, Pallavi Deshpande, Supriya Deshpande, Kshama Khadtarkar, Sayali Degwekar and Pragnya Lalingkar with live music by Pramod Jadhav on synthesiser and Venkatesh Kulkarni on percussion.
