The Primetime Theatre Co. celebrates 35 years of theatre!

Mahesh Dattani’s ‘ Dance Like A Man ‘ produced and directed by Lillete Dubey, is a highly celebrated classic hit that has travelled 5 continents and has done over 700 shows worldwide.

It has the distinction of also being the longest running original Indian English play in India with rave reviews from The New York Times & The Daily Mail, UK aside from other reviews.

Dance like a Man delves into the lives of Jairaj and Ratna, two Bharat Natyam dancers who are past their prime. The story contrasts their struggles with that of their daughter Lata, who is on the verge of becoming a successful dancer. As Lata’s success looms, it creates tension and jealousy within the family, revealing deep-seated secrets and generational conflicts. The play is a rich tapestry of emotions, exploring serious themes though a comic lends, leaving the audience oscillating between laughter and tears.
