BoTShops: How to Play a Dragon, The Art of Writing Epic Fantasy
In this daylong workshop, Shatrujeet will take participants through the basic elements of fantasy, and introduce them to the process of creating a fantasy / mythical world. The workshop will pay significant attention to the concept of World-building, and will guide participants through the process of creating a vivid and differentiated fantasy universe. Participants will also be given a fantasy premise, which they will then develop into a 2-page fantasy story.
Fee Rs 1500 for the full day, 10 am to 5 pm
Lunch and a choice of any one book by Shatrujeet is included in the ticket price. Participants have to let us know what books they want in advance. Book will be signed by him.
About The Facilitator:
Door-to-door salesman, copywriter, business journalist and Assistant Editor at The Economic Times; Shatrujeet Nath was all this before he took to writing fiction full-time. He debuted with the Indo-Pak spy thriller 'The Karachi Deception' in 2013, followed by 'The Guardians of the Halahala' and 'The Conspiracy at Meru', the first two books in the Vikramaditya Veergatha series. At present, he is writing Volume III of the series. Shatrujeet lives in Mumbai, but spends much of his time in the fantasy worlds of his stories.
