The Bombay Dash is a unique sailing event that most importantly is Open to All.
It’s an event that brings people from various facets of life together to form a crew on a sail boat, gives them a short crash course in sailing and then gives them the opportunity to participate in a race where they compete with boats sailed by more participants.
Whether inspired by Popeye, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Moby Dick, we’ve all been fascinated with the idea of sailing the wild oceans. Here’s an opportunity to learn ‘how to sail a boat and then engage in a competition with the other teams.
No prior sailing knowledge or swimming ability is required here.
On our boats, you will learn the basics of sailing and accordingly, assigned a role.
We’ve decided to keep things interesting and the teams will be formed via a lucky draw. On this event, you are certain to meet new people, learn about a new sport, compete and soak in the magic of the sea.

Sailing is the action of traversing on water using boat, ship or any other floating vessel.
A sailboat is a type of boat which has sails attached to it an moves to the surface of water by harnessing the power of the wind.
Powered by wind, these boats are designed to deliver a true sailing experience. Their smaller size compared to luxury yachts allow them to stay closer to the water and you to soak in the joy of wind powered sailing.
It is a light fun activity that anyone can participate in and enjoy. Ideally the event is for a person who falls under 10 to 70 age group.
This activity will be conducted by our expert sailing partner.
Safety is key. Safety jackets are available on board for all guests.
Guests do not need to know swimming to experience this activity.
What to bring along:
Personal Identification, Hat, Sunglasses
What to wear:
Dress comfortably to soak in the complete sailing experience. Shorts, T-shirts & flip flops.
If any of the guests have a medical condition or physical disability of any sort, it must be brought to the attention of Jack & Hill Adventures before booking the sail.
Alcohol is not allowed on board. Bags are normally checked at the jetty.
Last date of booking is 16th December 2018.

On Sunday's the road from Regal to the Gateway is shut and parking is quite painful so plan your journey accordingly.
