Welcome to ASICON – Mumbai,

The 17th National Conference of the AIDS Society of India (ASICON 2026) will be held at yet
another exceptional and well-connected venue—JW Marriott, Mumbai Sahar, Maharashtra,
from 6
th – 7
th March 2026, where we will be convening second time. Those who attended
ASICON 2015, will recall what a fabulous location this is.

Comprehensive arrangements are underway to host approximately 350 delegates attending in
person, supported by seamless high-quality virtual connectivity for remote participants.
This year’s scientific program will highlight the latest advancements in HIV research and
emerging infectious diseases, including updates on new PrEP strategies and Lenacapavirbased treatment approaches, non-communicable diseases, co-morbidities and issues
related to ageing.
With the invaluable contribution of our distinguished national and international faculty and the
unwavering support of our well-wishers, we are committed to delivering an outstanding
conference experience, true to the credo of ASI. ASICON 2026 promises to be a significant
scientific milestone, especially as it is back to Mumbai after a decade.
Our esteemed partners—NACO, Central TB Division (CTD), IAS, WHO, and UNAIDS, among
others—will continue their strong academic collaboration. We are also pleased to welcome the
Mumbai District AIDS Control Society (MDACS) and Maharashtra State AIDS Control
Society (MSACS) as our newest academic partners this year.
ASI remains dedicated to nurturing the aspirations of postgraduates and early-career
researchers by providing a platform to showcase their work through poster and oral
presentations. Scholarships will also be awarded to eligible applicants.
We look forward to welcoming you in person to Mumbai, India’s most vibrant city and the
financial capital of the nation, for the 17th ASICON.
