- **Event Description**: On July 9th at 7pm, we invite our community to walk with us along the Mullingar canal line for a candlelit memorial walk in honour of Mary Walker.

In 1909, Mary left home for a simple evening walk and never returned. More than a century later, women are still walking with fear.

This walk is not only in remembrance of Mary, but in solidarity with every person impacted by sexual violence, abuse and gender-based violence within our communities today. 

It is for the survivors carrying invisible pain. 

For those who were silenced. 

For those still fighting to be heard. 

And for those we have lost.

Together, we will walk quietly, reflect collectively and stand united in the belief that women should be free to exist safely within their own communities.
