- **Event Description**: Summer paddlesports camp in Mullingar Harbour  for 12-15 year oldsAbout this EventThis camp is aimed at introducing young people aged 12-15 to paddlesports (paddleboarding and kayaking) in a supportive and fun environment. This 3-day camp will take place on Monday July 6th to Wednesday July 8th, from 10am-12pm each day.Cost of registration is €25There is extremely high demand for this so please only register if participant is expected to attend each of the 3 sessions.Participants do not need to be a strong swimmer to participate in this course but should feel comfortable in water with a buoyancy aid.As there will be limited changing facilities, please wear swimwear under clothing on arrival. Wetsuits are available to use but if you have your own you can use this. All other equipment will also be provided including paddleboards/kayaks, buoyancy aids, helmets, paddles etc. It is recommended you bring old footwear to wear into water, a towel, a drink and sun cream if sunny.All sessions will take place at Mullingar Harbour, unless notified otherwise by the instructor or Westmeath Sports Partnership. All sessions facilitated by experienced and trained instructors from Inventure Watersports.If participant cannot attend after registration please let us know so we can offer the place to someone else. Refunds available up until 48 hours before the first session commences.
