Participants will then take part in a guided butterfly walk through the historic and characterful grounds of Belvedere, learning about the diversity, ecology and importance of our pollinating insects.This event is suitable for anyone with an interest in nature, biodiversity and pollinators.Please wear clothing suitable for the weather and for walking outdoors. Light refreshments will be provided.Copies of Jesmond Harding's book on Irish butterflies will be available to purchase on the day.This event is funded by the Heritage Council and Westmeath County Council.Free event – booking is essential.
