The Original Country Legends namely “The Entertainer” Tommy Dell, “Queen of Country” Barbara Ray, “Midnight Cowboy” Clive Bruce, are celebrating more than 65 years each in the S.A. Music Business, will be entertaining the fans at The Barnuard, Silverstar Casino on Sunday 20th September starting at 2pm. Our guest artist, Nadine Burness will be part of this fantastic show.

Tommy Dell known as “The Entertainer” represented S.A. In Nashville USA in the 80’s. He has gold & platinum albums and is known for his vibrant stage act. Presently he hosts a show on Bok Radio 98.9 FM and Bok TV. You cannot help but enjoy this artist with songs like “Teddy Bear”, “The Gambler”, “Blueberry Hill” “I Can’t stop loving you”. Tommy represented SA at the International Country Show in Nashville 84 and 89, Best Male radio presenter 93, 94 95 at Radio Helderberg, sang with the Jordanairs Elvis Vocal Backing band also with Conway Twitty and Charley Pride. Tommy has received various awards over the years. In 2015 he toured with Kenny Rogers as one of the Country Legends.

Barbara Ray known as "The Queen of Country" has earned more than 22 Gold & Platinum records during her career, with numerous other awards as well. Amongst her hits are “I don’t wanna play House”, “Down the Mississippi”, “Whose gonna tie my shoes”, etc. She has also obtained Lifetime Achievement Awards from Huisgenoot Skouspel, Radio IFM amongst others. In 2015, she toured with Kenny Rogers as one of the Country Legends.

Clive Bruce known as “Midnight Cowboy” the popular presenter of “Sing Country” and “Rewind” on TV4. He has received various awards including a Platinum Award for his record sales. His Hits include “One Last Kiss”, “Red River Rosie, and “Seven Spanish Angels” In 2015, he toured with Kenny Rogers as one of the Country Legends.

Nadine Burness known as “the Gypsy” A very talented Country Singer and entertainer Nadine participated in school choirs, musicals and eisteddfods. She became choir captain in Matric and was selected as member of East Rand Youth Choir. And travelled throughout SA and to Europe (Italy, Switzerland, Austria and Germany) Her love for country music has taken over and she is a very popular singer on our shows. Her latest “Down to Mexico” was on the IFM102.2 Country charts recently.

The Country Legends have done various radio, TV, interviews over the years and are considered a household name in the country genre in South Africa and abroad. They have performed in Casinos, Concerts, Church halls, Schools, fundraisers in South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia and even overseas.

Together these artists provide a show to be remembered, bringing back so many memories and starting new ones. See you there!
