OK Flockers, ok so here is the rundown.
Gulgong has been selected as the 2026 Spring Flocking. Anyone who has visited or been through the town will know its one of the coolest old towns in NSW, almost frozen in time and only 30klms from Mudgee.
I have settled on the main accommodation being that the “Ten Dollar Town Hotel” as it has 39 rooms of mixed configuration and has the ability for us to park bikes directly outside rooms keeping most of us all together around a central type of carpark. It’s directly across the road from the Centennial Hotel, which is where the organised Saturday Dinner will be, also has accommodation options for us.
It would be a great result to set a new attendance Record!!
In both locations mention Triumph Thunderbird Group "Flocking" October 2026

Other options are available about a kilometre out of town for the campers , also other accommodation scattered through town. The most common feedback I keep hearing is let’s try and keep everyone together as much as possible and then look for the overflow if needed.
I have a proposed ride loop for the Saturday ride (approx. - 120klm total round trip) out through Dunedoo / along with a good spot for the group photo, will confirm this or something else closer to the Flocking along with the finer details
