- **Event Description**: Come one, come all to the Hidden Lair's first annual Urbie Derbie. You might have heard of the grand rumble they throw out in the Periphery, but now's your chance to participate this year in
the chaotic and endearing sport.

This Year's festival is a massive race through the canyon, a heart stopping and thrill seeking ride if only you werent piloting the slowest mech known to man. 

But dont worry, for our track has dastardly tricks, traps, curves, and shenanigans to keep our loyal audiences entertained. For our grand prize this year is a solid gold Urbie, with some slight silver and bronze mixed in for our tropy hunters out there. Our rules for the event are as follows

1: bring 2 seperate urbanmech units with designated front arcs, you can use any classic 30-ton Urbanmech so long as it is not an experimental technology.

2: we will be using classic as our ruleset, so bring your full sheets or an electronic copy that will let you keep track, and quirks will be in full effect.

3: there will be limited spawns, hence the doubled urbanmech choice, and remember that any artillery rules will be treated as having a minimum range of 21 hexes to target an
enemy.

4: there will be plenty of traps and tricks along the race, along with designated shooting/combat zones, non-combat zones and checkpoints, whoever goes furthest and does the most damage will earn top marks, however if someone does make it to the
finish line first they will claim the grand prize Urbie
