United Way of South Central Illinois is thrilled to be hosting NACA (Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America) right here in Mount Vernon on Saturday, January 10th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at our office — 716 Main Street, Mount Vernon, IL 62864.
🏡 This is your first step toward homeownership!
I’ve been researching this program for months, and I’m beyond excited to finally bring it to our community. NACA is an amazing program that opens the door to homeownership for people who might not otherwise have the opportunity.
✨ Here’s what makes it so incredible:

✅ No closing costs
✅ No fees
✅ No PMI
✅ Below-market fixed interest rate
✅ Credit score is not a factor
💡 What I love most about this program is its focus on financial literacy — teaching families how to start building generational wealth through education and opportunity.
🕙 The meeting starts promptly at 10 a.m. and will last about four hours.
🍽️ Lunch will be provided by United Way of South Central Illinois for all attendees.
📘 About the NACA Homebuyer Workshop:
The first step in NACA’s Purchase Program is attending a free Homebuyer Workshop.
During this four-hour session, you’ll learn everything you need to know about the NACA process — including how to become NACA Qualified (mortgage ready) and what steps to take next. Once you complete the workshop, you’ll receive your NACA ID and gain access to your Member Portal to upload documents and schedule your one-on-one counseling session.
