About the event

Event Title: Visual Poetry & Jazz with Mt Vernon's Poet Laureate

Learn about the fun of visual poetry, which combines poetic technique with abstract art. In an interactive workshop led by Scott Russell Morris, Mt Vernon's Poet Laureate, we'll make abstract art using collage and mark-making tools while listening to vinyl jazz. All materials will be provided. The event is free and suitable for the whole family. Hosted by Hilltop Plants and Records and sponsored by the Mount Vernon Area Arts Council.
