B’hekk, nhar il-Ħadd, 23 ta’ Novembru, se niċċelebraw 40 sena ta’ ħidma ambjentali fil-ġnien tagħna, u nistiednu lill-pubbliku jiċċelebra magħna. Se tkun opportunità biex issiru tafu aktar dwar l-istorja ta’ Friends of the Earth Malta u l-vjaġġ tagħna lejn futur aktar sostenibbli.

Se jkollna wkoll ikel u xorb f’ambjent rilassat, fejn inkunu nistgħu naqsmu tifkiriet, stejjer u attivitajiet differenti. Dan l-avveniment se jkun ukoll il-Ġabra Annwali, fejn se nuru x-xogħol li għamilna matul din is-sena.

Join us on Sunday, 23rd November to celebrate the anniversary of the first documented protest by Youth for the Environment, which marked the beginning of our organisation’s journey back in 1985.

This protest was the moment that made Youth for the Environment known across the country, the start of a new environmental movement in Malta.

So, on Sunday, 23rd November, we’ll be celebrating 40 years of environmental action in our garden, and we’re inviting the public to celebrate with us! It will be an opportunity to learn more about the history of Friends of the Earth Malta and our journey towards a more sustainable future.

We’ll also have food and drinks in a relaxed setting, where we can share memories, stories, and take part in a variety of activities. This event will also be our Annual Gathering, where we present our work for the past year.
