This 30-Hour Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program (YACEP) is designed to elevate your practice, deepen your understanding, and support your personal transformation.
This 3-day course is led by Geoff Brooks, a Yoga Master with 40 years of experience. Designed for anyone who wants to understand breathwork and meditation as they were meant to be practiced, it blends traditional philosophy with modern understanding. You’ll learn practical tools and techniques to build a sustainable personal practice.
The course has individual units comprising of;
● The Reason – Why Yoga breath and meditation is so effective
● Preparation I – The importance of, and your, best seat
● Preparation II – Pranic flow
● Breath 101 – Basic anatomy, physiology and bandha
● Techniques I – Ujjayi, Sama Vritti, Kapalabhati, Bastrika, Viloma
● Focus the Mind – Mind focusing tools and techniques
● Techniques II – Alternate Lung Breathing, Mind Stillness
● Refinement – Open forum for Q&A on finer details
● Personal Practice – Develop your personal practice
This course is delivered in person in Malta, with additional video instruction to support your practice at your own pace and in your own time.
It is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. Led by Geoff, a highly respected teacher of teachers, the course offers expert guidance through the subtle and complex practices of working with breath, energy, and the mind.

Geoff brings over 40 years of yoga practice and more than 20 years of teaching experience.
His journey through life and yoga, combined with his expertise, wisdom, and graceful approach, has made him a source of inspiration and guidance for many seeking to deepen their experience of living. Geoff offers a unique suite of teachings and also contributes bespoke components to Yoga Teacher Trainings (YTTs) across Australia, Asia, and Europe. With a profound understanding of yoga and its underlying philosophy, Geoff teaches various styles, including Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga, alongside Pranayama techniques. His teachings are celebrated for their focus on yoga’s true essence, promoting pranic flow, exploring sensations within poses, and applying mindfulness practices.
