Join us at Dwellings Farms, alongside the experts from Double R Pastured Poultry, for a hands-on chicken processing workshop designed with beginners and homesteaders in mind!

Whether you’re just curious or ready to roll up your sleeves, you can observe or participate at your own comfort level as we walk through each step of the process.

? What to expect:
• A guided, start-to-finish learning experience
• Option to take home a pre-processed chicken (processed earlier in the week)
• Refreshments + beverages
• Time to ask all your questions
• A visit with our farm friends- Highland cows, pigs, and goats ???

?‍? Details:
• Small class size for a safe, quality experience
• All chickens + processing equipment provided
• 18+ (or supervised by a guardian)
• Waiver required day-of

? What to bring:
• Clothes & shoes you don’t mind getting dirty
• Hair tied back
• Optional: a sharp 3–4” knife (for evisceration only)
• Cooler if you plan to take a chicken home

? Spots are limited + reservations are required!
