A Tiny Forest is a dense, fast-growing, native woodland made up of 600 trees planted in a tennis court-sized plot. They are not only an attractive location for wildlife but are great for people to enjoy as well, and can provide a range of benefits in the fight against climate change. This Tiny Forest was funded through Bannister and the Local Authority Treescapes Fund.Join us on Tuesday 9 December where we will be planting 600 trees that will make up the Tiny Forest.Location: Land off Seaton Road, Mountsorrel LE12 7YHCoordinates: 52.726083333333335​ -1.1530555555 | what3words:///payout.informal.screechesHow long to spend with us:10:00-15:00 (until all the trees are planted!)Please arrive towards the start of your session so that everyone who would like to join in has a tree to plant. You are welcome to stay for as little or as long as you like.What to wear: We strongly recommend wearing long sleeves and long trousers, plus footwear for a day in the outdoors, such as wellies/walking boots.
