Wag Fest 2026

Mountlake Terrace is unleashing its 2nd Annual Wag Fest, a free, fur-tastic, family- and pet-friendly festival that’s going to be the ulti-mutt day out!
We’ll have a 1.5-mile FitRun, tail-wagging contests, paws-on demonstrations, handmade goodies, food trucks, live music, and so much more. With an estimated 5,000+ two- and four-legged friends expected, it’s the purr-fect day to celebrate pets, community, and fun!

Meet and Greet for some of the dogs at Smidget Rescue. Dogs will be at the event the entire time so NO rush to be there right at the start. There is an adoption process that includes an application, reference check and home visit. Not first come, first served and no same day adoptions.
