Ozark Thunder MMM Pre show

This year Ozark Thunder will be your Mountains, Music & Motorcycles Show!

Ozark Thunder is a newly formed band based out of Yellville, Arkansas. The band is made of a few folks that have a lot of music experience playing with different bands over the years, and one new fella that is brand new to the live music scene. They play a mixture of old outlaw style country music, a few select newer country songs, and some good old southern rock.

The band members are Yellville natives Stacy Davenport who plays electric rhythm guitar and the fiddle, and Roy Dillard on the bass guitar. Both of these fellas add to our vocal harmonies as well. Next are the husband and wife duo of Doug and Tammy Mears. Both have spent most of their lives in the Yellville area. Doug is the band’s drummer while Tammy brings beautiful back up vocals to the stage. Eddie Switzer, originally from Chicago, Illinois, brings his amazing lead guitar skills as well as provides some great vocals. All of the above members have been in and around live music for many years. Kirk Knapp is the only newcomer to the stage. Originally from the delta area of Arkansas, Kirk has called Flippin his home for the last 24 years. Kirk is the band’s lead singer, and plays rhythm guitar.

After spending the last year practicing weekly in Doug’s garage, Ozark Thunder is a true garage band that is ready to play, sing, and bring a new thundering sound to the Ozarks!
