Acrobatic Injury Prevention Workshop

As a physical therapist working in the circus arts world, Jaimie sees a lot of familiar themes in the aches and pains we all deal with. Let’s get together to talk about some of the most common patterns of injury and how to both prevent them and make informed choices if they do happen. Jaimie will dig into why our sports challenge our tissues, explore preventative exercises, assessment strategies, training concepts, and more. We’ll leave time for Q&A, and maybe even do a little jamming afterwards.

This workshop is free/donation based and everyone is welcome: partner acrobatics, silks, lyra, parkour, gymastics and more!

The jam is for attendees of the workshop.
