Pot Luck dinner is Saturday Evening @ 6pm. All other meals are on your own unless collaborated with other hangers/kitchen team volunteers. See Signup Sheet for each event

When you arrive at the state park, if there is a gate keeper, let them know you are camping in the Primitive Area with Palmetto State Hangers. Access to the site begins at 2pm the first day of the hang and you must be off the site by 10am Sunday.
Please remember to bring your own cutlery and plate/bowls for the group meal. You are responsible to remove any leftovers and single use products that you brought from the tables at the end of the group meal. PSH will not provide serving utensils, you must provide your own, please LABEL your things so they can find their way back to you if you forget them.
This Club is a volunteer organization, chip in, own your part in the club. The roster includes when and how you can volunteer- sign up, do your part, collaborate with other hangers and share the load of making these events awesome.
Everyone must agree to the Hanger Code of Conduct to participate.
The Palmetto State Hangers are committed to outdoor ethics and fostering a family-friendly community. All members and guests shall abide by the following principles:
1. **Respect Nature**
* Follow *Leave No Trace* principles.
* Camp only in designated areas and use tree-friendly suspension straps.
* Do not damage trees, vegetation, or wildlife.
2. **Respect People**
* Maintain a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly atmosphere at all hangs.
* Treat fellow members, park staff, and visitors with courtesy and respect.
* Keep noise to a reasonable level, particularly during quiet hours.
3. **Safety First**
* Use safe hammock camping practices (proper hang angles, heights, and gear).
* Supervise children at all times.
* Follow all State Park rules and regulations.
4. **Leave It Better**
* Pack out all trash and belongings.
* Help maintain common areas at hangs.
* Share knowledge and outdoor skills with others in the spirit of learning and community.
**Enforcement**: Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in removal from Club activities or termination of membership by a majority vote of officers.
