Join us for a special live edition of the Baker Series as Baxter County Historian Vincent Anderson takes the taproom stage to share and discuss our newest installment: “The Legacy of the Long Table.”

This month’s story explores Mountain Home’s long tradition of gathering around food — from the early 1900s courthouse picnics to the remarkable 1914 Thanksgiving Barbecue, when more than 3,000 people feasted at an 800-foot table circling the town square.

Vincent will walk us through the history, answer questions, and offer deeper insight into the rich traditions that shaped the Baker District and the surrounding Ozarks. If you’ve ever been curious about our community’s past — or simply enjoy a good story — this is an evening you won’t want to miss.
