Carat Cake for Into the Light

Here’s your chance to satisfy your sweet tooth and help provide Christmas gifts for victims of human trafficking through Into the Light.


The Carter family at Carter’s Jewel Chest in Mountain Home will conduct its annual “Carat Cake” fundraiser from 9AM to 5:30PM Friday, November 21 and 9AM to 4:00PM, or until cupcakes last, on Saturday, November 22nd.

The fundraiser is a unique event. A $10 donation allows participants to receive a delicious cupcake which may contain a ⅓ carat diamond or other precious gemstone. A total of 300 gemstones plus 1 diamond each day will be inside the cupcakes. A quantity discount of 6 cupcakes for $50 will be offered. 1000 cupcakes baked by Petite Patisserie will be sold.

This is the 35th year for the Carter family and Carter’s Jewel Chest to support a local charity. During that time, the fundraiser has surpassed over $150,000 in donations.

Carter’s Jewel Chest is located at 860 Hwy. 62 East in the Town East Centre in Mountain Home.
