✨ 6:45 PM – Indoor presentation with stunning Hubble images (McClure Convention Center, The Sheid)
✨ 7:30 PM – Optional outdoor telescope viewing (weather permitting—bring your own binoculars or telescope!)
✨ 8:30 PM – Prizes & giveaways (Gaston Lobby, Roller Hall)

SPECIAL GUEST: DR. JENNIFER WISEMAN, Senior Project Scientist for NASA's Hubble Space Telescope, who is also a Mountain Home native and MHHS Class of 1983 graduate.

Special Community Partners:
? Arkansas Natural Sky Association (ANSA) will be on-site with their Responsible Outdoor Lighting Academy, sharing how smart lighting improves safety, protects wildlife and human health, saves energy, and helps preserve our night skies.
? Buffalo National River (National Park Service) will share dark sky preservation efforts, upcoming 2026 summer night sky programming, and what makes the Buffalo one of the darkest night skies in Arkansas.

Astronomy Night is an exciting stargazing adventure on the ASUMH campus, where students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to explore the wonders of the night sky through telescopes provided by ASUMH and faculty. Participants are welcome to bring their own telescopes as well. 

Whether you are a seasoned stargazer or have never looked through a telescope before, you'll discover something amazing overhead. The stellar event is made possible through generous funding from a Pattee Grant.
