Treasures and Trinkets

Clay Class for Rising 5th–7th Graders

Arghhhh! To all the pirates aboard, it's time to set sail for the pottery studio on a creative adventure filled with clay, imagination, and treasure-making fun. Young artists will design and build their own handmade treasures, jewelry, beads, charms, and decorative trinket dishes using a variety of handbuilding techniques.

Students will explore shaping, sculpting, texture, and glazing while creating one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by pirate loot, hidden treasures, and magical keepsakes. Shimmering glazes and colorful finishes will bring every creation to life.

No prior clay experience is needed—just a willingness to create, experiment, and enjoy the journey together in a fun and encouraging studio environment.
