What is M4?
Music, Movement & Magic in the Mountains (M4) is an immersive arts camp for adults held at the Appalachian Folk School. It is unique because:
Creative Play Without Borders: A comfortable environment to try learning a new instrument, a new movement form.
Artistic Synthesis: A rare space for seasoned music, movement, and visual artists to experiment in shared dialogues and perform in evening mini-concerts.
Process Over Performance: The goal is to experience joy in the creative process, rather than going after a polished product
Community: Beyond classes, it is the building of community through sharing meals, open jams, and evening dances to foster connection.
