At 3:30pm CST on Saturday, November 8, 2025, American professional eater Randy Santel will be at Golden Rule Bar-B-Q and Grill located in Irondale, Alabama!! The address is 2504 Crestwood Blvd, Irondale, AL 35210. I will take on Golden Rule BBQ’s “Big Pig” Pulled Pork Sandwich Challenge and will have just 45 minutes to finish a huge 4.5 lb pulled pork sandwich topped with coleslaw and served with a side of fries!! Many people have tried, but only a few people have actually been able to finish everything within the time limit. Katina Eats Kilos unfortunately will not be there, but I will have photos pre-signed by her for anyone who follows her as well, and wants a signed photo. Regardless, this is sure to be a fun and delicious barbecue sandwich eating challenge event that you don’t want to miss, if you can make it!!

Randy’s supersized pulled pork sandwich challenge platter will be brought out around 3:30 pm CST. The food challenge will hopefully be broadcasted as a livestream on my Randy Santel Facebook page for anyone interested in watching who cannot attend in person. I will arrive at Golden Rule Bar-B-Q and Grill about 45-60 minutes early to start getting set up so we can be ready to meet & greet with everyone who arrives beforehand. Thankfully, I will have a lot of Randy’s Store merchandise with me, especially FC Leonidas bears, FC Flexfit hats, “Atlas Rising” comic books, and Katina’s military green KiloCrew t-shirts. All photos are free and I’ll be able to sign any purchased merchandise upon request. Cash is preferred but debit/credit cards can be accepted as well!! I also have Venmo, PayPal, and CashApp too. *Please note that this event is being held at 3:30 pm CST, well before the Alabama Crimson Tide football game starts at 6:30 pm. This event will be finished with lots of time to spare, so people who want to watch the game elsewhere will have plenty of time to get where they want to go, prior to kickoff.
