UPCOMING SESSIONS:

🕯️ Thursday, April 30th – America and the Holocaust: Did It Start in Oldham County? with Rabbi Stan Miles
How does a global tragedy connect to a place close to home? Rabbi Stan Miles explores the roots of the Holocaust and the long history of antisemitism while examining a compelling question with local ties. Expect thoughtful context, important historical insight, and conversation that invites reflection.

🚂 Thursday, July 23rd – When the Railroad (Almost) Came to Town with Charles Hartley
In 1890, big plans were on track: a new railway line from Louisville through Mt. Washington and on to Smithville at Salt River. The Louisville Southeastern Railroad Company was officially incorporated and even authorized to raise $1.5 million to make it happen. Everything seemed set in motion… except the trains never came. Local historian and author Charles Hartley unpacks the story of the railroad that almost reshaped the community—and explores what that near-miss meant for Mt. Washington’s future.

For ages 12 and up. Just drop in!
