- **Event Description**: Skagit Valley College invites students to participate in the SVC Hackathon: Environmental Conservation.

During this one-day event, students will collaborate in teams to develop technology solutions that address environmental conservation and sustainability challenges.

Participants will work together to brainstorm ideas, build prototypes and present their solutions at the end of the event.

Students do not need prior coding experience to participate. Teams may include students with skills in design, research, communication, programming and problem solving.

This event is open to students ages 16 and older. (Washington State High school students are encouraged to participate!)

Location: Skagit Valley College, Mount Vernon Campus, Lewis Hall
