Species commonly sighted here include scaup, gadwall, snowgeese, tundra swans, and great blue herons.Accessibility Note: We will be meeting at Fir Island Farm Rerserve in Skagit County, which is about a 45 minute drive from downtown Bellingham. The entirety of the trail is completely flat packed dirt/gravel, and there are bathroom facilities at the trailhead. This is a very sit-and watch location that doesn't involve a lot fo moving, so please be sure to bundle up to stay warm outside in a windy area.
