The last comprehensive biological survey of the Kokosing Scenic River was in 2007. How can the EPA protect what they haven't measured in nearly two decades? This river is the home to many protected muscles species who aid in the clarity and health of this beautiful State Scenic River. The hellbender who is endangered calls this River home. 

What we are demanding:
✨ No Antidegradation - which will lower the quality of this outstanding State Water
✨A new independent muscle survey before any permit is even considered. 
✨ Real-time monitoring of river flow and clarity.

Don't let the Kokosing Scenic River be buried in a blanket of limestone sludge. Join us as we speak against the approval of this permit.
