The Market Design Lab is an interactive workshop where young minds get to shape the future of child and youth markets held several times a year at Mt Sheridan Plaza.  We know kids see the world differently — and that’s exactly why their input is so valuable! They'll be encouraged to think like designers, entrepreneurs, and community creators. It’s about building confidence, encouraging creativity, and showing kids that their ideas matter. 

This one-day session is designed especially for young marketeers and entrepreneurs who want to:
– Share their unique kids’ perspectives and insights
– Dream up the future of child and youth markets
– Create resources for other young marketeers
– Learn how ideas turn into real-world market experiences

The workshop will be led by author, artist, and youth co-design specialist Lachlann Carter, who is passionate about empowering young people to share their ideas and shape the spaces and experiences around them. Lachlann brings creativity, practical insight, and a whole lot of energy to help kids turn their ideas into meaningful concepts.
