Discuss and share our feelings and perspectives about spiritual ideas, philosophies, and practices. This is a non-religious group, though religious themes and ideas may be presented. Our focus will be on books that offer spiritual, emotional, and personal growth and development. *PLEASE NOTE THE DATE! We are meeting on a Saturday for June! We had to change our regular meeting time of the second Sunday of the month to accomdate for summer holidays. We will not be meeting in July and we will resume on our usual second Sunday in August! We will be meeting on the second Sunday of the month in the meditation room of The Center for Healing and Integration, Delhi, from 1-3 PM. This is a free event hosted by Through Love Energy Healing; however, a donation basket will be provided to cover the cost of snacks and room rental. We are skipping the July book club as summer has been so busy, and our schedule of the second Sunday of the month has been difficult to stick to! August's Book: The Mountain is You by Brianna Wiest "The Mountain Is You: Transforming Self-Sabotage Into Self-Mastery" is a bestselling self-help book by Brianna Wiest that reframes your biggest life obstacles not as external problems, but as internal conflicts. The central premise is that the mountain standing in the way of your goals is actually you—specifically, your subconscious mind acting out of a misplaced desire to protect you from change, discomfort, or vulnerability While this book is not as spiritually minded as most of the other books we have read so far, it does have a lot to do with the subconscious mind, which is an aspect that most of the books we have read discuss. I have been known to self-sabotage in my life, and I am really looking forward to learning more about why it happens and how to prevent it. This isn't just a book club, it's a space to talk about our lives and the ways in which the ideas and practices from the books affect them. It's not just how well the book was written, but whether or not we want to adopt these philosophies, practices, and ideals, and how our lives will change if we do Meet with us at The Center for Healing and Integration, Delhi, on Sunday August 9th at 1pm EST to discuss! You are encouraged to take notes as you read the book to share with others. These could be things you enjoyed (or didn't) about the book, things you may have confusion or questions about, or general thoughts about the subject, writing style, anything you would like to share with others or hear others' perspectives! Please RSVP if you are planning on coming! We usually have refreshments available, and having an accurate head count is always helpful! - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/mount-saint-joseph/spiritual-book-club/200030332737309 - **Event Categories**: meetups, art, health-wellness, theatre, literary-art, nonprofit, meditation, holiday, half-term - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 5 ## Ticket Details ## Event venue details - **city**: Mount Saint Joseph - **state**: OH - **country**: United States - **location**: The Center for Healing and Integration - **lat**: 39.110499660644 - **long**: -84.618118286133 - **full address**: The Center for Healing and Integration, 5332 Rapid Run Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238-4244, United States, Mount Saint Joseph ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Spiritual Book Club - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events8/banners/f02e1d7f4b55b473e77d75f6429ad7a771f65b6c0e4c02cb582b208ee0e8a553-rimg-w851-h315-dc985878-gmir?v=1785722689 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Spiritual Book Club being held? - **A:** Spiritual Book Club takes place on Sun, 09 Aug, 2026 at 01:00 pm to Sun, 09 Aug, 2026 at 01:00 pm at The Center for Healing and Integration, 5332 Rapid Run Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238-4244, United States, Mount Saint Joseph. - **Q**: Who is organizing Spiritual Book Club? - **A:** Spiritual Book Club is organized by Through Love Energy Healing. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
