As always, Bailongo promises quality role-balanced classes given by some of the most fabulous tango teaching couples and pairs the very best Dj's with the most spectacular milonga venues.

THIS YEAR's TEAM

𝐏𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐳𝐚 & 𝐌𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐨 - two who've really earned the ''maestro'' title!  Popular teachers worldwide, both have been to Montreal numerous times, including twice together in the mid 2000's.  We are thrilled!

𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐓𝐬𝐞 & 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐳 who wowed us at Bailongo 2024.  Sweet, wonderful people and so talented!  Very excited they'll be back!

𝐑𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐚𝐧 & 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐢𝐧! These  two North American based (he in Montreal, she in NYC) tango gurus have a combined experience of 60 + years!  They are personable & friendly,and have unparralled teaching experience.

• The festival begins with a friendly, informal milonga on Wednesday, May 13th (there will be a class before the milonga )

• Classes on Thursday, May 14th (early evening) followed by our official opening milonga 

• On Friday, May 15th: an afternoon informal milonga followed by classes and then our Gala Milonga #1 with performances by one of our featured couples

• Saturday, May 16th & Sunday, May 17th classes all afternoon, Gala milongas with performances at night.

• On May 18th (holiday Monday in Canada) there will be class, a lecture and we'll close off the event with our late afternoon closing milonga

BAILONGO 2026 : 13 au 18 mai

Ce printemps nous célébrerons la onzième édition de Bailongo Montréal rempli de cours inspirants donnés par des enseignants talentueux de premier ordre, des performances époustouflantes et des milongas avec des DJ's de qualité exceptionnelle.

Avec une vigntaine de cours donnés par des profs ultra talentueux, 7 milongas avec les meilleurs dj's dans de splendides salles. . . ce long weekend s’annonce comme l’événement tango de l’année!

L'équipe 2026

𝐏𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐳𝐚 & 𝐌𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐨 - deux artistes qui ont véritablement mérité le titre de « maestros » ! Enseignants très appréciés partout dans le monde, ils sont venus à Montréal à plusieurs reprises, dont deux fois ensemble au milieu des années 2000. Nous sommes ravis de les accueillir !

𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐓𝐬𝐞 & 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐳 qui nous ont éblouis lors de Bailongo 2024. Des personnes formidables, d’une grande douceur et d’un immense talent ! Nous sommes très heureux de les retrouver cette année !

Ces deux gurus du tango basés en Amérique du Nord (lui à Montréal, elle à New York) cumulent plus de 60 ans d’expérience ! Ces profs talentuex sont chaleureux & accessibles, et possèdent une connaissance approfondie de tous les styles.

• Mercredi 13 mai: Milonga de bienvenue (avec cours donné avant la milonga)

• Jeudi 14 mai, cours et Milonga d'ouverture 

• Vendredi 15 mai: Milonga d'après-midi, suivie de cours et la Milonga-gala #1 mettant en vedette un de nos couples de maestros

• Samedi 16 mai et dimanche 17 mai, cours en après-midi et en début de soirée, Milonga-Galas avec performances en soirée

• Lundi 18 mai, cours, conférence et milonga de clôture en fin d'après-midi
